Deep Drift 2021
Operating as a creative refuge, Jacky Winter Waters is a site to behold the magic of Walkerville's magnificent beaches. Nestled within the towering bushland that overlooks South Gippsland’s spectacular coastline, it offers expansive views spanning as far as Wilsons Promontory. The house stands in stark contrast to the rugged cliffs in which it was built to admire, offering calm and quiet from the storm.
The spirit of Jacky Winter Waters is encapsulated by its exterior mural entitled Deep Drift, created by April Phillips, Beci Orpin, Carla McRae and David Booth. The artwork asks visitors to engage their curiosity at the door, and attempt to discover a still space to rest — something we have endeavoured to provide.
